Highlights

Phone size dual power supply

I needed a small power supply for my microcontroller experiments which doesn’t take up half my desk:)
So I designed one.

KEY SPECIFICATION

Number of Outputs

2

Total Power

45W

Mode

CV CC Li-ion charger

Voltage step

100mV

0..15V

Current step

10mA

0..1,5A

Schematic

The PSU works with TL494 PWM controller. The current measurement on whole range (10mA..1.5A) was a big challenge for me. I use a 4 channels 12bit D/A to control both TL494.

I like to use KiCad software. Easy to work with it and of course it is an opensource software.
